Alan Birchenall MBE - Striker, blond, with the trademark deadly left foot - 'The Claw', he was part of the entertaining Leicester City side of the 1970s under Jimmy Bloomfield. Affectionately known as 'Mr Leicester City' by the foxes faithful, he is still a familiar face down at the training ground and is also employed as the Club Co-ordinator.

In recent years, he has been awarded an MBE for his relentless work for charity organisations.
