'An Evening with Alan Birchenall and Tony Currie', Sheffield United F.C., March 2011
In March 2011 , following on from the successful event at Sheffield United at the end of last year , these two legends and great friends Tony Currie & Alan Birchenall followed on with another hugely successful event , presented by Sarah Robertson at Firth Park WMC where they entertained a full house there with more amusing stories and recalling memories from their playing days at Sheffield United and living in Sheffield at the time. Former Sheffield United players Len Badger & Ted Hemsley again supported the event which added to the banter in the room.
'An Evening with Alan Birchenall and Tony Currie', Sheffield United F.C., 18th Nov 2010
The event was a great success and the room was laughing from the beginning of the evening until the end - even the raffle was turned into a comedy ! Alan & Tony were hilarious together!
They recalled stories from their playing days and Alan also vividly remembered stories, as if it was only yesterday, let alone 40+ years ago, from his time of playing and living in Sheffield which the audience loved. There were also a couple of former players at the event which were literally sitting targets for some of the jokes & stories recalled by the two legends.
The audience played their part in the evening also with so many interesting questions that were asked and of course , the evening could not pass without the story behind the famous kiss being told - after all 'It started with a kiss' for the ongoing friendship of these two great former players. See Alan and Tony in action below!!!!

'The Red & Blue Xmas Cracker at The Swan in the Rushes, Loughborough on Thursday 3rd December 2009'
A great night was enjoyed by all with plenty of Forest & Leicester banter prior to the big local derby game on Saturday 5th December
The two legends also entertained their audience by recalling some unbelievable stories from their Xmas nights out and club tours as players - many previously unheard and some only just repeatable !
Thank you again for your part in last night's event & support.

'A Nostalgia Evening at Worcester City with Roger Davies'
In October 2009, Roger returned to one his former clubs , Worcester City, for the first time since 1971.
Roger only played seven games there but also scored seven goals during his brief time - which is where he was first spotted by Peter Taylor and subsequently watched by Brian Clough before signing for Derby County.
The evening was particularly nostalgic for Roger, and the audience listened with interest to his career before, during and after his time at Worcester City and some of the amusing stories and the memories that he shared with them.
